The Wall
The Wall is our space for local voices and creativity. We leave part of the shop empty so artists can show their work — paintings, illustrations, whatever speaks to them. It’s about taking back space for culture, supporting local talent, and bringing art into the heart of our community.

Zachary Talbot (@earth.ztm)
His paintings offer a series of portraits exploring the artist as a young man, reflecting a belief in the divided self and self-conception as multitudes. He experiments with compositions and spatial arrangements to express different aspects of his identity, aiming to evoke both emotional engagement and a subtle sense of insecurity in the viewer. Characterised by the use of primary colours, pointillist and impasto techniques, his work investigates mark-making, pattern, and harmony of form. Working across a variety of canvas scales, he explores landscapes, objects, and portraits, continually discovering new ways to compose, imagine, and express complex emotional narratives.
